HOW IS A VIRTUAL TNCC/ENPC TRAINING PROGRAM DELIVERED? IS THIS A SELF-STUDY PROGRAM?

The Virtual TNCC/ENPC training program is delivered by our faculty, via live video stream, directly to the student’s desktop, laptop, or tablet. We have students participating from all over the world.

Is this course certification accepted just like an in-person TNCC/ENPC training program?

This is the exact same course as the in-person course except that it is delivered by video conferencing (Zoom).

What time does the course start and how long does it last?

Typical Virtual Course Start Times Each Day:

Pacific Standard Time: 6:00 a.m.
Mountain Time: 7:00 a.m.
Central Time: 8:00 a.m.
Eastern Standard Time: 9:00 a.m.

Day 1 of course will take approximately 8 hours, Day 2 including testing will take approximately 4 hours. These hours will highly depend on class experience levels, questions, etc.

What do I have to do to complete the course and receive my TNCC/ENPC certificate?

For you to successfully complete the Virtual TNCC Course, you must:

  • Complete the pre-course materials.
  • Attend all portions of the virtual class lectures, skills, and practice stations.
  • Successfully pass the Virtual TNCC/ENPC psychomotor skills station.
  • Complete the online ENA TNCC/ENPC multiple-choice written evaluation with a passing score of 80% or better.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY ?

If you have registered and paid for classes you can reschedule within 60 days at no additional charge.

If you do not show up for class, you will forfeit your payment.

DO YOU OFFER ONLINE COURSES ?

We offer online courses taught LIVE via Zoom for ENA, TNCC and ENPC 100% virtually.

Will I still receive continuing education credit?

Contact hours will be provided by the Emergency Nurse’s Association. The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

What equipment do I need to have to take a virtual course?

A desktop, laptop, or tablet computer that is running either Microsoft or Apple iOS operating system. A video camera, microphone, and speakers to be able to participate in virtual class activities. An internet connection to connect with Zoom Video Conferencing.

Why do I need to keep my camera on during the virtual course?

Just like in an in-person training program, our faculty is responsible for ensuring that the student is present and engaged. Eminent has several monitors so we are able to clearly see students’ faces to pick up on visual learning cues just like we would in an actual classroom. The video conferencing software also indicates when students’ video window is minimized or not in the forefront.

Will all future TNCC/ENPC training programs be delivered virtually?

We do not know. We do believe that Virtual TNCC training is here to stay. As a healthcare education corporation we have not abandoned our onsite in-person training programs but we have shifted 100% to Virtual TNCC/ENPC delivery. We are currently doing a hybrid program with some of our larger clients. We deliver all the virtual video lecture content and their TNCC/ENPC instructors do skills stations and testing. We credential their existing TNCC/ENPC instructors and do ongoing video monitoring to ensure they meet established ENA guidance and standards.
