She is an emergency nurse entrepreneur who created a business to support the educational needs of healthcare providers. Shawntay has trained over 240,000 nurses worldwide, transforming nurses from bedside to C-suite into strong leaders of the future. Education is offered both live and virtually to increase healthcare providers’ knowledge and application to impact positive patient outcomes.
Shawntay Harris has over 23 years of experience in emergency and trauma services. She is recognized as an expert in both specialties as a highly sought-after Expert Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant. Shawntay has 30 years of experience working for nonprofit organizations. She is currently on the board of the Emergency Nurses Association Foundation. She is on the Executive Editorial Board of the Journal of Emergency Nursing. She is the President of the Texas State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association and Course Administration Faculty for ENPC/TNCC. Shawntay is a Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing

The story of Eminent CPR starts in an advanced degree classroom in 2006 as a capstone project for the Masters in Business Administration program, but it did not end there. Eminent CPR has evolved as a highly recommended training center that educates people on the importance of knowing CPR, First Aid, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, the Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course, and the Trauma Nursing Core Course.
Eminent CPR is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center. Classes have limited seats as per the AHA guidelines. Eminent CPR teaches the CURRENT AHA and Emergency Cardiovascular Care required modules and skills training to make each student successful in their clinical practice area.
